This might be my favorite custom Wonder level so far. I literally gasped when you moved the poison with that pulley. And the second half is just incredible level design. Love this.

Wow!! You managed to pull off one of those "What? You can do that?" moments I loved from the base Wonder with that pully moving the poison at the top and bottom. You're really getting good at this! Edit: After looking through the comments I'm realizing I'm not the only one who thought this. You really have gotten good at making an experience like the original, in a good way.

This is so creative! 😭 One nitpick is that the wonder effect makes you stay crouched basically the whole time almost being as if it wasn't even there.

Your levels just keep getting better and better! This has to be your most creative Wonder level yet...and probably your hardest. It almost feels like you're giving Wonder the NSMBU difficulty curve!

I think this is my favourite of the levels you've made so far. The poison moving with the camera, the subtle foreshadowing of the wonder effect, it's incredible

The way I gasped for the entire level, like starting from the point where you could just change the level of the entire Toxic fluid felt like a Wonder effect on itself but the level just kept on going… I have no words I’m just happy i’m able to support channels like this.

Holy stars that level caught me off guard. I saw some comments saying the poisons moves, but I thought it was gonna be like the rising sand from that one previous level of yours, not the entire stage poison moving! A very creative idea though all together, and a very well put together mix of puzzling and straightforwardness for a level!

These levels are getting... just wow, they're unbelievable. I loved Wonder, but if they offered a challenge like this, even if in optional stages, I would've gone mad.

This level really has that "Alright, were getting closer" vibe to it that I can't explain. It's that point where you're so deep in a game that you embrace the challenge and start to dig deeper.

This one really evokes SMW for me, the long sections with the sliding poison layer remind me a lot of Valley of Bowser 2!

Awesome design! Seeing some course parts move with the screen while others stay in their scrolling positions was cool to see! And having the dry piranhas trigger the mushroom platforms was a very clever design! I love seeing your custom levels! They never stop blowing my mind, tbh!

I think this is the best level design you've made so far. Theme, gameplay, vibe, and wonder effect choice, all come together as a singular cohesive experience. Very charming. 10/10

I knew the poison was going to move with the level because I read the comments first, but even with spoiling the surprise I still gasped actually watching it happen and how the level moved with it. Masterclass level design as always.

1:45 The lava suddenly moving vertically was cooler than the Wonder Flower effect. Maybe make that the Wonder effect instead, where it becomes a vertical autoscroller with both horizontal and vertical lava walls.

I don't think moving walls of liquid are interesting enough to be a wonder effect on their own, and sadly it's impossible to link multiple pulleys to the same object, so that section was always intended to be a one-off.

The level design in this level might be some of the best you have ever done. I have always thought that some of your levels had a bit to much going on, but not this one. It’s unique, it looks good, and it was really thought out. Good level 🎉

Insanely cool. However, I think most people wpuld expect the platform at 1:06 to ... not kill them, then step on it and die.

Yeah you might be right. Every upside-down mushroom in the level moves down, and every normal mushroom moves up, so that was included assuming players would notice that, but it might be a bit too cruel to assume everyone is paying attention to details like that.

That makes sense, though I also don't really see what players would expect to happen in that section except to be killed, considering how close the mushroom is to the poison.

@@Rimea A mushroom closed to the poison (touching the surface) maybe fix that problem. A green mushroom touching the surface is a clear sign of "sink to death"

The issue is that it's insta-kill and not a single other mushroom in the entire level does it. Feels more like a troll than a proper level design feature. I think it'd work better if you saw a piranha plant do it first earlier in the level.

I'm continuously amazed by how much variety and innovation you are able to pull off with simply the base game's modifiers and interactions. The depths of this game's mechanics alone easily rival Mario Maker.

I honestly feel like that gimmick with the pull lines moving the level should've been the Wonder Effect rather than quick one-off puzzle in the main level.

Although I do make my levels weeks before I showcase them usually, this one was made in late November. I mostly don't really try to make my levels fit with the time of year.

Nope, I've only used voice lines from the original game so far, and I wouldn't use AI if I wanted to add new phrases.

All the talking flowers voice lines in my levels so far were taken from the original game, but the plan is to eventually replace all of them with original dialogue.

This level is awesome! Only things that bothered me is the red and green mushrooms look very similar with colorblindness, idk if one of them could be changed to blue or something.

Thanks! As I'm sure you know, there's different types of colourblindness that each affect a different selection of colours, so making the mushrooms blue wouldn't be a universal fix. Still, the green mushrooms do have a subtly different design from the red ones even ignoring colour, since the green mushrooms have arrow-shaped dots.

Your levels are great but they feel like they aren’t like regular mario levels because some parts can be very complex or unpredictable like when the skull piranha plant walked over the green mushrooms under the poison, and after all, Mario is meant to be a simple and fun game for kids, that shouldn’t be to complicated

You can get a glimpse at my levels' star ratings at the very beginning of each showcase video with the loading screen that slides away. However, in most cases I just rated the level 3 stars without putting much thought into it, because judging a level's difficulty without doing extensive playtesting is... well, difficult.

You have probably answered this already somewhere, but are you planning to make your wonder levels a mod later on, or are you just making them for fun and then showcasing them? Also amazing level, I thought world 5 of wonder was a pretty unique theme :)

I have, but it's fine. Yes, I am planning on releasing all these levels as a mod, though my plans for that aren't super concrete yet, I'm just making levels until I don't want to anymore.

Since it appears in this original world, I'm gonna talk about it, why do the rifts not one-shot you? It would make logical sense, and they say "beware of the rifts" like they're a massive threat, but then they deal 1 hit of damage??? Just had to talk about it, am I wrong for thinking that? Yes, completely random, I know Also amazing level design🎉🎉🎉

I sort of agree, though making a mechanic that one-shots the player a central gimmick in a level ups the difficult to an extent that the designers may not have wanted.
