haha i can clearly notice from where all the characters came from, mario, luigi and peach como from mario and luigi superstar saga the capes and feathers which they appear every now and then are from supermario world yoshis comes from yoshi's island game , sonic and shadow ,sonic battle (not remember if that was the title) for GBA

I think if they did it right, it would be extremely well recieved....I think people would rather play this kind of crossover between the video game rivals of the 90s than make them compete at the olympic games :P

I'm game for this kind of crossover, but hopefully they don't retain that fact that all of the sonic side characters, besides shadow, are brutally killed. I mean I know many people would be glad to see most those characters gone, but I still bet the majority would at least like tails and knuckles to remain alive. Maybe the chaos emeralds will pull a dragonball and be used to bring those characters back to life. Other than that, I'm in full aggrement with you that it can be done and should.
