No, the tracks are just for aesthetic and are created using the the edges of the cave tileset. The platforms' movements are set to follow the "track". The fuzzies follow solid sprite-only tiles hidden behind the cave background that similarly line up with the track. I'd recommend looking in the editor if the explanation came off as confusing.
