Brave Gallade it just isn't as good as the previous paper Mario games. many RPG elements are stripped away in favor of a more generic platformer style gameplay. ie it's pointless to fight enemies with no exp system. it even ditches the large interconnected world concept for a super Mario bros style world progression scheme. I suggest buying it used/cheap or borrowing it and trying it for yourself. FYI color splash is the same way. pity.
