My favorite mission in this galaxy and the taker of the Silver Medal 🥈 for my favorite missions in Super Mario Galaxy is Heavy Metal Mecha-Bowser! At first, I didn't believe the fact that it's a boss, but looking more deeply, I feel like the stage itself is the boss: a huge Mecha-Bowser! Instead of attacking it with weapons like in Mario Sunshine, where you ride on the rollercoaster and shoot water rockets at it either up close or from afar while holding back Bullet Bills and its fire breath with FLUDD, you actually climb up it a la Megaleg, and in the process tighten screws, loosen bolts, break off its chest plate and arm, and to top it all off, you go up to the top and Ground Pound the stones to destroy it on your own! So awesome!

“Bouncing Down Cake Lane” Mission for me be like… “If I have to try to eat my way through these sweet-looking obstacles, I’d just know I wouldn’t, cuz they’re virtual and their tree-comparing sizes would just be a pain (in the stomach) if I’d have to try! Although they’re technically planets, the Toy Time Galaxy should’ve made them feel like plastic. If I’d have to play this game again, I’d wanna be prepped for Toy Time’s Mission #3, as in not dealing with an empty stomach in actuality…” Also, 21:46 with the flying Undergrunt Gunner is just pure LOL! I’d bet he ain’t using some cannon-shaped cake to fire balls of “electrified sugar”, though! 😋
