Man, Mario Galaxy was such an amazing experience. You’re exploring the galaxies, stomping some bosses, and then you randomly step into the library and get hit with FEELS. I’m not exaggerating when I say the storybook was one of my favorite things from this game, and I always looked forward to it.

This was amazing, it summed up Rosalina’s life real well. At first Rosalina had a mother and a father, then she lost her father after she was given his telescope, afterwards her mother passed away and Rosalina was all alone. But just as Rosalina lost one family, she quickly regained another, thousands upon thousands of children to look after and watch grow up every day. Btw, QueenCreeps has such a beautiful voice.

Ok this is a bit of a vent but you know what whatever- I always loved Rosalina as a kid. I loved her storybook, her kind character, the lullabies and waltzes. Everything about galaxy is so nostalgic to me and my brother. This theme has always been my comfort, and these beautiful lyrics have an added weight for me. I lost my mother last year. Things have been hard, but I have the help of my friends, family, and others. I first played Mario Galaxy when I was 8 years old, and this is the first ever game that made me cry. And that’s because of the ending of the game. The music, baby luma saying good bye to Mario, and all the other Lumas dying to recreate the Universe. This game will always hold dear into my heart.
