GAH! I was too engrossed in the music and spun out on an electrified Thwomp... ...It says something when this caused me to picture the entire course in my mind. Something -good-. Adding the race opening and closing was a very nice touch as well, not something I was expecting at all, but it worked with the song and enhanced the final product.

Really well made, only thing I would say is raise the key for the final lap. Final lap themes have always been several keys higher and the changing of keys combined with the acceleration of tempo really drives in the panicky, fast-paced nature of final laps, especially rainbow road

+hskshag00 No, they haven't. In Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart: Super Circuit, the pitch would always stay the same, even in the final lap, with only the tempo going up. It would actually be less accurate if the pitch were higher.

@StarWarsXM Lots of people make Original Compositions. In fact, the Original Composition Contest for MPC is the most successful held contest for MPC out there. :) You can also make nice sounding stuff in lower tempos as well, so dickspeed isn't needed to have a successful song.

At least the N64 version of Rainbow Road had bumpers to keep you from falling off the track, unlike the SNES version, where you could easily fall off into the dark.

Brian Draney Pfft, N64's Rainbow Road is too easy, and it seems to suck out a lotta the fun (at least for me, the Rainbow Roads have almost always been easy for me to pick up quickly.) I like the SNES version a lot, especially the remastered version on MK7, because the tight turns and lack of bumpers makes it more intense, and much more fun.
