I decided to expand this medley, hopefully twice as large (20 mins, maybe more, maybe less), and yeah I already have some ideas on sega, gamecube and playstation songs, I´ve never owned an Xbox console but we´ll see. Keep in mind that it will not be just a simple collection of songs, I need to choose representative songs in chronological order, I like to remix each song to give them my personal style, make smooth transitions for each theme (So that the whole song seems like one big song), and that requires time, patience, tempo and chords adjustments, etc. So be patient. I watched this in 2009 and was blown away. Music from games opens me up to trying them out if it's good enough and this video opened me up to so many new series that I never would have tried based on their genre. I would have never experienced Metroid, Star Fox, Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, and Banjo, which coincidentally became my favorite game of all time. Silpheed (which always seems to be compared to it) has much better music. Most of the music before it in this video is better than it. When I saw this video for the first time, I was really young and didn't recognize half the melodies. So maybe teens these days just wanna play first person shooters, but I'm firmly loyal to Nintendo. They're responsible for a portion of my childhood, me being quite a fan of the Mario games ever since I was very little. Since I wasn't raised on games like Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus (which I'm really interested in), Punch-Out (which wasn't included here but still seems really great), EarthBound, StarFox, etc. I want to make these games a staple of my teenage years and go on to purchase more systems and games for sure. Everything before the Wii was pretty much foreign to me until a few years ago when I was introduced to an NES (and Dr. Mario) and I found out about the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance. I'm with you, man. I grew up with Nintendo and it was truly a wonderful experience. I still play Nintendo to this day, but the 6 year olds love Call of Duty. I actually find CoD to have a very small bit of fun, but NEVER beats the classics and moderns of Nintendo. Nintendo for Life.

Way back in the day, when I first watched this in like 2009 or 2010, when I was around 11 year old, listening to all the different game soundtracks, it got me really interested in all the old games out there. I even made a list of all the games here so I could watch playthroughs of each one, and I remember having a blast exploring all the games that were before my time. So I guess because of this video, I became a complete nerd with a love for video games :)
