I think PBG was way too impatient in the crane game level. It's a really well designed, clever, and fun looking level though. Once I get SMM2 I'll be sure to give him a follow.

I am impressed with the quantity and quality of levels that you've made, Jeff! I've been an avid level designer since I was a kid, and it still takes me an entire day to make a level that I think is quality enough to upload! Serious props, man!! ...Also, if you want to play my levels, here are the codes. I've been studying video game design in college for over 2 years, so I appreciate everyone who plays and gives feedback! --- "Tilter's Hill": My first SMM2 level! Exploring the mechanics of see-saws and slopes. CGT-YXQ-RKF --- "Lo-Hi Lagoon": A giant cheep-cheep stole the key to Mario's fishing hut! Use blue pipes to change the level of the tides and get it back! KRS-7QW-X2G --- "Piranha Pipeline Poison Plunge!": The pipeline has gone haywire! Try to navigate the puzzles as the poison flows up and down! DXB-VBK-TJG --- Every level has exactly 100 coins and 1 hidden 1-up! They're all fairly short and relatively easy, so hopefully they'll be enjoyable!

Haha, there's a common theme among game developers that if you try to make a game hard, it will be EXTREMELY hard. Since you're the developer, you know exactly how everything works and you have countless hours of practice with it, so it seems much easier. Making an easy game that is still engaging is the most challenging way to go. Lots of people learn that through Mario Maker, since levels that are /kinda/ hard by the developer's view are IMPOSSIBLE by anyone else's standards.

Aww yea. The finished crane game. Gonna write down my suggestions from last stream here, maybe Jeff will see it: - Bombs x2 - Bring two bombs in the right spot. - Top and Down tunnels with crane games in them (if it's possible with the limited view the player has) - Switch blocks below the position where the switch is, so the player has to change his positioning after hitting the switch. - More danger for the player (maybe some lava blobs that jump or some bullet bills) Guess that's enough for now. Definetly funny episode, would love to see more of it :3

It took me about 18 minutes. I would have done it faster if my shells didn't keep getting stuck in the area with the boss. The shells would just bounce back and forth up above between the cloud and the square of vine below the spring and no other shells would spawn so I had to keep killing myself and starting over from the previous rooms check point.

I've had the chance to play all of Jeff's levels, they are all very well done. However, I gave up on the crane one, because It was a little bit too frustrating to wait whenever I messed up on the bomb sections.

I've played this course before; it's pretty neat! In an attempt to snag the world record on it I even experimented with taking the bob-ombs into places they aren't supposed to be by breaking the rock blocks in the walls, but to no avail, lol

Hey Hammy, I like the ideas behind your level but when I played it I kept having problems with the fifth area (the one with the hanging boss). I have lost in that area a few times because the shell will keep getting stuck up above and another shell wont spawn. It just hits back and forth between the cloud and that square of vine beneath the spring until time runs out or I die. It would be nice if shells kept coming.

The checkpoints save your time, so if you hit a checkpoint at 4 minutes everytime you die and respawn at it you set the timer back to 4 minutes
