Wow there are a lot of mechanics at play here. It seems like they are bringing back the partner system from the first Super. I’m not sure how similar it will be, but at the very least it looks like the character specific dice thing is a thing of the past which is good. And the more partners you get the more items and stars you can buy?! That’s a game changer. Not sure if it will just be for that one board or the whole game but that’s a very interesting way to bring it back. Also it looks like they are also bringing back character spaces from 5-8 and DS. Now that’s intriguing. Again not sure if that’s game wide or just that one board but it really shows how they want to put a bit of everything in here. It seems like Pauline was put in because there are some scenarios where a specific character can’t be played. Bowser doesn’t seem to be playable on Mario’s Rainbow Castle or King Bowsers Keep since he is on part of those boards as well as being a boss fight on Koopathalon. Also I can’t imagine Yoshi would be playable on whatever this is 1:40. Speaking of Koopathalon looks like a lot of fun. I was scared it would just be an online minigame player leader board but no. This really seems like a dedicated mode for online play and a larger player count. This is how you innovate for modern times. Some minigames are being recycled. And not just from old games but from the very previous one. I’m fine with it. With all the new stuff they added a couple of reused minigames to save on resources is fine by me. Bumper Balls and Shy Guy Says are always good picks . Plus two full boards are being reused so it’s not the game is entirely new stuff anyway. Let’s just hope all the ones they bring back are good ones and not the blasted control stick spinning games again.

It also seems that you can encounter these allies, and if you win you can obtain them (Well I couldn’t translate the text so I’m unsure about that part. I can wait to see new items and board mechanics. I noticed that there would be board-changing items (The Wiggler Bell, The Lagoon Couch, The Conveyer Belt Lever, and the Quad Dice). The fact that nobody can tell whether this is Charles or Afghani (it is all Afghani) alone proves that he's doing a phenomenal job with these voices. His Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi are spot on here. His Wario even improved, not that it was ever bad it was just noticeably different in Move It. Here it sounds nearly identical to Martinet and hearing his Waluigi for the first time is awesome. It sounds so good, dude is very much a worthy successor to Charles. People are lying to themselves if they say he's bad as any of them or not as good.
