i think you should play yooka-laylee, which is basically a modern reimagining of banjo-kazooie. the company that made that game, playtonic games, has some of the people who used to work for rare yooka is a green lizard and laylee is a purple bat (with a big red nose) the game's villain is a bee named capital b, but he unfortunately doesn't rhyme what he says the game's notes are quills, which are mainly used to buy moves from the game's move teacher, a red snake called trowzzer. fortunately, when he is teaching a new move, yooka and/or laylee say something like banjo or kazooie did in their first game when bottles taught a new move the game's jiggies are pagies, which are pieces of paper that came out of books that were being sucked up by the game's hub world, hivory towers the game's jinjos are ghost writers, which look less friendly than the jinjos do, and each color (red, yellow, green, blue and purple) require you to do something specific to "collect" them
