Yeah I feel like the stadiums in the Switch game are too small. In the Gamecube game everything is more spaced out and the players aren't glued to each other (also the tackle sounds are better)

The day I get a computer that can run classics like this I'm done with new games because these games like these right here have more playability and you enjoy yourself way more than games now days. Honestly more entertaining than a modern football match. People just camp defense now adays, 90 minutes of a god awful match. Football is so hard to watch. Used to be fun. They should have a rule where you can't have the whole team on your half of the field so the whole team doesn't camp the goal after scoring once. They play for results purely and it makes it boring for the people watching

Man, coming back and comparing this gameplay to battle stars really makes you notice how watered down the new one seems. The little things like the celebration after a goal, the impact when tackling or bowser coming down and wreaking shit are just missing. Even the stadium seems tiny and lifeless. Still hope its good when it releases.

Was debating to whether or not to pick this up for Christmas. Im 24, and I remember playing this on Gamecube when I was little. I played the demo, and I was shocked. It didnt feel the same. Now I know why. The map size is way smaller and the controllers feel to out of sorts. The fun factor is lower as well. GOnna pass on paying 60 bucks.
