Super Mario Wonder...Only It's COMPLETELY Unhinged

Welcome my friends to "Abhorent Mario Wonder"... Episode 2
Today we are checking out a new Mario Wonder Mod called "Abhorent Mario Wonder" made by Adamzero!
According to the creator: Taking inspiration from Mayro's Nightmare Mario wii, I aspired to do something similar. The goal is to make levels that have an overall concept that people aren't going to want to play. In some situations, this means taking a fun sounding concept but misusing it entirely.
The idea isn't to make the levels super challenging, just annoying to play. Some levels are harder than others, but overall the difficulty should not be too high, especially because not every level is required.

Whoever said Terraria early game is slow has either never played Terraria or definitely did it wrong. It's far from slow. You want some slow early game, play Minecraft. Terraria is extremely fast paced. I mean, if you're not stupid about it at least. They probably went in and just started trying to dig like a newb.

I mean yes and no, if you do anything BUT rush the nearest cave it is pretty slow, most people who first play Terraria can't even survive the first night on classic. THAT'S the skill level of new players, you gotta keep that in mind. I'm current doing a legendary run on getfixedboi (for anyone else reading this, it's the hardest possible seed on the hardest difficulty) and me and my brother just recently beat WoF, and even with all of that I can't say early game is particularly fast. Once you're established you really do go fast though, but early game is still really slow.

@@placeholder-jc1bc Oh rushing a cave is completely different from just trying to dig your own or trying to pick and whittle at every little ore you see 20 squares off. I kind of did that my first playthrough but only for a little bit until I realized what world loot was like in treasure chest and the rest of that play through and every other playthrough now The first thing I do is run all the way left from spawn to the ocean getting all chests I can from caves and the ocean and then run all the way right and do the same thing. Usually something good will come up here and there but if you're lucky and have a good seed then you'll get good stuff everywhere. To me the number one thing is what's in the ocean chests. Getting your underwater breathing early for example without needing potions. In general you should have way more or and everything else that people tend to mine for way faster than you would if you were mining for it

@@placeholder-jc1bc I restarted the game for about the fifth time two days ago. Extra lucky run for all the chests were mostly crap But the second time I went to the corrosion I got the full necro set within about 5 minutes. The home and chest in fact dropped at the same time lol. Starting a new playthrough and having 19 defense within a couple of hours is phenomenal. I'm sure it will never happen again or nothing like that lol. Hopefully Steam will do its job and actually cloud save this time. New playthroughs are fun and all especially for a challenge run or whatever or to not be just completely overpowered. But there's also something nice about having all of your stuff still on another character/world. There's also something just particularly nice about having your loop character bound instead of worldbound. I do know why Minecraft doesn't do that though. It doesn't have the same emphasis on uniform gameplay throughout the game and from server to server.
