I always love the Bowser Castle themes of both Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World. You can really tell you were in one scary place. But oh boy, the Super Mario 64 Bowser stages were absolutely scary with the music that theme is hard to beat.

Koji Kondo wrote a beast of a song -- Jules just added heavy real guitars/bass/drums/etc to it instead of it being in SNES midi form like the original. He didn't totally re-write that part or anything though, just to be clear ;)

I think my favorite touch out of all of this is the sliding. It just added SO much punch to the track. Obviously every single track recorded is incredible, but I felt like that particular element was very FJ in style. I'm still completely baffled how the arpeggios are made to look so easy. That's an insane amount of precision.
