Thanks for the review. I’m changing from an interceptor to super meteor. Have also ridden Himalayan in ladhak and Tawang. Most of the good comments you mentioned about engine and acceleration is already available in interceptor. They both have the same and identical engine Comparison with Himalayan for off-roading and at turns is great and very helpful

First off, this is the best reivew I've seen so far, you went to all the terrains in a short video and actually gave all good points about this machine. Keep up the good work. Also, I am from uttarkashi, thinking about purchasing this bad boi, only thing I'm worried about is the ground clearance, roads here are not exactly good, some patches are really bad. You got any wise words for me?

Glad it was helpful! Ground clearance is not going to be much of a problem unless you are riding on an extreme offroad route. If you come across a few bad patches on your daily commute, the best is to slowdown and this machine will take you through without any scraped iron.

The handlebar grips and side mirrors that are mentioned in this video are a big upgrade for RE motorcycles. These should now comes as standard in RE bikes if they want to become a global brand.

Yes, it is a great initiative. They should also launch similar accessories for Himalayan. People are riding mountains on this bike and need such options for tough terrains...specially, Ladakh region.

@@nautitraveller bro Himalayan won’t have any accessories because Himalayan 450 is gonna be launch early next year. It will replace the current himalayan 411 also there will be a subsequent replacement of Scram 411 with Scram 450. There are so many test mules videos roaming around youtube indicating the upcoming launch.

Rear one is a little stiff. Long rides on highways are going to be a cakewalk, but it can trouble you if you are on long offroad terrains. All in all, this machine is the best from RE. I literally forced my friend into buying one and he is loving it. Shall soon make a long term ownwrship video on it.

I think they should put their latest 650 cc engine in all their models and upgrade to 650 cc as standard.

Right. Even Himalayan needs an engine upgrade with more power. A min of 40 PS power and 40+ NM of torque is a must.

And I thought I have covered all the aspects of motorcycling :-D Thank you for asking this question Devendra. I have not ridden this bike during rain as I tested it in March. Nevertheless, given the kind of rear tires it posses, and the bite of the brakes it has, I have less doubts about its capability in the rains. But since, you have raised an interesting point here, I shall ride it in the monsoons this time. Won't be uploading a review vlog on it, but will definitely do a travel vlog this monsoons on a Super Meteor 650.

What was the mileage ?

Couldn't do the mileage test but I took the vehicle with fuel at minimum level, refuelled 4 litres of petrol and did around 100 kms. So I guess it should not be below 25kmpl.

In terms of power and torque, there is no doubt in the capabilities of this bike. But in terms of comfort, it is designed for cruising on highways. Although now even Ladakh region has some great roads but the rough patches still exist and if you can compromise with the comfort, then this can surely be your pick for Ladakh. Secondly, one is less likely to buy a motorcycle just for the purpose of Ladakh ride. You can always rent a Himalayan from anywhere in Himachal for a Ladakh trip. I hope this will give some perspective. Feel free to ask more.
