Wowza... Even your terraria corruption remix was energetic and fun, to hear something as sinister and dramatic as this.... It's an unexpected suprise, but a very much welcome one. Godlike remix. This honestly reminds me of the Mario Wii bowser's castle theme. If that got remixed the way this was it'd be the most dramatic musical peice in the history of gaming.

The subtle details really make this piece come to life. The way it builds up to each drop, the anticipation feeling like you're descending deeper and deeper into alien cavers. The quiet gaming effects (8-bit, perhaps?) in the background at the more piano-y parts adding to the build-up, the way the repetition is never quite the same with the instruments and effects. Amazing job, Qumu! Your work is truly stunning

So I actually found this part of the soundtrack pretty bad the first time I listened to super Metroids ost but once I started playing the game and had the atmosphere and gameplay associated I found it to be an amazing way to add to the experience. I think how you portrayed it in this remix is much more how I felt when listening to it when entering lower brinstar for the first time. This is a superb remix of the Lower Level Brinstar theme. Nice work Qumu! I can't wait to hear your interpretation of Upper Brinstar, my favorite song in the game, and of Samus: Galactic Warrior! Metroid has a LOT of good music in general, you can't go wrong with remixing another Metroid song.

Lol, I'm using this song to tune my phone's equalizer to how I like it, and I slid the middle one all the way up and the ones on the either side all the way down so it sounds like its in a tube, which always makes the music I'm listening a bunch worse, but this time, yours was still such a banger.
