I love the cameos and the overall incorporation of MK, from fatalities to lyrical content. There’s something about double bass, chugging, and MK that meshes so well together! I’ll be sharing this with my other MK buddies! MK is one of those games that will stand the test of time for me. I can vaguely remember the first time I saw Mortal Kombat. My uncle had it for his SNES, and I was mesmerized by Sub Zero and Scorpion. Fast-forward a few years, and my cousin got a copy of MK2. We played it every day for years. MK3, specifically Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, was when my love for the game would reach even higher levels. I remember my father taking me to the local arcades, and UMK3 was always the cab I went to first. I was barely tall enough to play the bloody thing, and I was constantly destroyed being a kid facing off against older guys, but I didn't care. It was so much fun! Fast forwarding a bit, the MK4 release in the arcades was also massive and a game I sunk what seems like endless quarters into. From there, I believe I have, at this point, played every single MK title ever released. Where am I at today as an MK fan? Well, I have a Scorpion tattoo, for starters. I’ve bought two Arcade1up MK cabs and play my deluxe cab just about every day-currently one of the top-ranked players in UMK3. Finally, I’m getting to move back to Ohio after serving in the Air Force for the last ten years, JUST in time to catch the Game On Cleveland gaming convention and all the awesome MK stuff there. I’m working on a home arcade I’ll building up once I move back called “The KombatKade.” The Scorpion piece would be the ULTIMATE accessory for The KombatKade, so thank you for giving us fans a chance to win such an iconic piece.
