I love Christmas but I agree! I am so glad it’s over!! 🎉😅 For me it’s seeing the excited faces of my grandchildren and just having everyone together in my home. But wow…the work! So amazingly fun and so amazingly exhausting. I like the slower pace that comes after Christmas as well.

The best thing that I do after Christmas is make a list of everything that we bought and enjoyed and everything that we bought and didn’t eat! I make a list of all those extras that I always need to remember such as tights as you mentioned and get the list out in November to prepare myself! Another idea is plan your outfits ahead of going out so you know what you’ll be wearing and when.

Oh my gosh! When I get as a kid in the 70s we would visit family in the Akron area (from CT) every year and going to Cedar Park with my cousin was always a highlight of the trip!

Our Christmas this year was very special. We shared with our family that we are adding another baby to our family. A little boy due in July 2024. I don’t usually comment on your videos often Jamie but know that I watch them religiously. I always get very excited when I find out that you posted a new one!! We tackled our house the day after Christmas as well. Cleaning, organizing, and now rearranging bedrooms for our new addition. I hope you all have a Happy New Year!

Hi Jamie, it feels like it's been forebears since I saw you on here, and it's so nice seeing you today. My oldest grandson got sick, and I took him to the doctor on Thursday before Christmas, and he has RSV a, and I strayed feeling rough on Christmas, so I went yesterday, and I have RSV. I'm at my wits end with all this sickness everywhere, and I'm with you on getting the house back to normal. Christmas stuff is going to be put away, and this house is going to get disinfected and sanitized from to to bottom. Can't wait for the organizing videos. I took my tree down at 930 Christmas night! Did a really good deep clean the next day and took everything down! I put up winter decor w lots of white snowflakes! So simple and cozy!

I hosted Christmas Saturday, Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. I was wiped out but after everyone left on Christmas day I got all my Christmas decorations cleaned up and put away. The 26th I went outside and got all the outside Christmas decor packed up. My husband had foot surgery the end of November and is still in a cast so he couldn’t help but my sweet son showed up and took all the bins and tree to my storage. Yea! Go Me! I was so ready to get everything put away. Now I’m ready to get my house back to normal. I’m so glad y’all had a good Christmas. I hope Mike has a wonderful Birthday 🎂! Hi Jamie, had a great Christmas with my granddaughter, at 21 months it was so much fun with her. My orthopedic said to stop PT until I get my MRI, still in a lot of pain. I did Christmas dinner. I got all my Christmas down too! What an ordeal but luckily I can put crates on my walker and move them that way. I need to organize my Christmas stuff and purge but hard since so much is sentimental. Got new crates since the old ones are cracking. The house looks so barren without the decorations but that is ok, like you say it looks normal again. Thank you Jamie!🙂

I'm so guilty of just putting the ornaments in random storage bins or bags just to get it out of the way, only to struggle with finding them all come Xmas time again!
