Early Konami games were based on incomplete dev-kits and had tons of slowdown. Someone went ahead and fixed up the code for Super Ghost in Ghouls, and it made the game way faster with very little slowdown. Test Bio-Metal. the Japanese version with a normal soundtrack. Game has mad slowdown.

I didn't know Bio-metal had a normal soundtrack. I'll definitely check that out because that is definitely the reason why I don't care for that game because the music is absolutely ridiculous.

@@OldsXCool Yes, the North American version is one of the weirdest things ever. I have no clue why you'd ever add that music to the game. It's so ill-fitting.

the overclock version is so much better makes me quite sad to see why nintendo didnt do something to remedy the slow down in this game and more by just tweaking their own hardware a little..

Or even corrected the CPU speed and Framerate in the Snes mini once the hardware on the mini surpass the original hardware.

On that note Nintendo could not have upped the CPU speed on a later revision because there are many games that have timings that are tied directly to CPU frequency. I played Top Gear with this overclock and the game ran ultra smooth, but I couldn't make it though a single race because I kept running out of fuel within one lap because fuel consumption was obviously tied to the CPU frequency.

Best way to over clock your super nes put a switch on it so you get over clocked and normal. I think you just have to change the crystal to over clock.there instructions.
