I once got a FULL INVENTORY worth of Dyllis Deluxes just for the Flopside Pit. Of course, the last slot was a Shroom Steak as I ran out of room. My max HP was at like 150 when I did the pit(don't ask why I went that far).

If you wanted a full inventory then you could have stored 1 or 2 Dyllis Deluxes then made one the picked them back up

Emergancy Ration heals 50HP in the Pit of 100 Trials, this heals 90. The one item that IS essential is a Life Shroom or 2, just in case you can't heal quick enough.

In Chapter 3 there's a chain chomp when the cat say YOUR NOT MY Master(Dunno which side maybe right) then kill it then it could drop a power stake. restores 15 HP

@Quackoid the amount of HP it restores is different. If you don't cook them, they can heal 30 HP, but if you cook it, the amount of HP it heals goes down to 5. So it really isn't worth it to cook them.

make an emergency ration for the pit as well. one fire burst with a mushroom and you got it. when used in any pit of 100 trials, restores 50.

actually it makes more sense because the hamburger and shroom steak would take up 2 inventory slots, so the maximum amount of hp you could restore with a stock of those items is 475 hp a full inventory of dyllis deluxe restores a total of 900 hp

@gixer750ws If you don't have much HP then maybe an Emergency Ration would be better for going to the one of the Pits of 100 Trials. They are cheap to make and heal 50HP, but only in the Pits. I forgot how to make them exactly, though, but if I had to guess I would say that fire-based attack item + Shroom Shake.

to make a shroom steak, you go to saffron (chef in flipside) and give her a shroom shake.

Or you can use Emergency Rashions. It says they heal 10 HP, but they actually heal 50 when you're in one of the Pits of 100 Trials (but only in the Pits, doesn't work for the Sammer Guys). I believe the recipe is: Shroom Shake + Fire Burst. Super cheap to make! :D I got through both Pits with just these. :)

AGH I made it to room 95 of the Flopside pit, I was in a room full of Dark Hammer/Boomerang/Fire Bros. and I as low on health because I already used my Dyllis Deluxe! You need more than one people!

If yur doing a low level challenge (I really don't recommend doing a low level challenge if your doing Flopside Pit of hell) Ultra Shroom Stakes save time. Dyllis Special is for REALLY STRONG people, like people with 100 HP. THAT is when you do this.

you have to do a little side quest to start it you need to beat chapter 5 okay then you have to go to merlee in flopside and talk to her behind the crystal ball at the end you'll get a key to a house in flopside.. and well you then have to find a house

It's not a matter of amount of hp healed, it's a matter of inventory space. Inventory space is hugely important for pit of 100 trials. That extra 20 HP over 10 items is an extra 200 HP you have to finish the pit if you max out on this item rather than maxing on shroom steaks.

Yeah. That way you create a Shroom Steak that recovers 70HP and cures poison. You might as well just stock up on THOSE than go through all of that trouble for an extra 20 health points. Do you actually expect to be able to go through THAT multiple times just for one dish when you can just go straight from flopside shop to flipside cook?
