Poor Blumiere. I almost refuse to call him Count Bleck, but I must call him that to not talk in past-self tense I guess. I always thought that Blumere and Timpani's story was sad and that they couldn't be together.*maybe they can* Blumiere's back story almost always makes me cry every time I read it. Stupid Dark Prognosticus! But...............................yet again without the Dark Prognosticus *Hope I spelled it right* Super Paper Mario would be non-existant. This game is oddly dark for game being rated E for Everyone.

Watching this playthrough has reminded me why I hate it when people say this game sucked and was crap. It is clear that anyone who says that either didn't try the game because of the lack of the turn based combat or quit early on because this story, while a little predictable at times with its plottwists, is amazing and in some regards even better than Thousand-Year Door's. The Main Villains are definitely better, whether or not they're as memorable is up to the player but their stories and motivations are 10x better. I think Nintendo misunderstood the hate and thought the players didn't care about the deep story so they gave Sticker Star a bythenumbers Mario story to avoid wasting time and energy and just brought back the turn based combat thinking it would do well. Sadly they screwed up the battle system and what's worse is that people still don't try this game out after Sticker Star's disappointment, they just think Paper Mario died with this game when in reality it didn't die here.

I LOVED SMB2. It was the first video game I ever became obsessed with. I was actually quite sad that it was only a dream world, and you never returned there again. I foolishly thought that they were going to have every other Mario game alternate between that world and the Mushroom Kingdom, but I'm at least glad they recycled some of the enemies for later games.

It is very depressing but at the same time it's odd. It's not too often most of your sympathy goes to the main enemy in a story, Along with tippy. Mario is the main character of the story but in the end it feels like tippy and bleck were the main ones. It's actually clever because it's different.

You're not alone Emile, I also have quite fond memories of Super Mario Bros 2 and I was so excited as a kid when Birdo was a playable character in Mario Party 7. By the way Mario Party 7 is my favorite Mario Party of all time and there probably won't be another one to top because let's be honest Mario Party is going down the drain because of 9 and 10. I don't like the concept of riding in one vehicle together instead of going off and doing my own thing in older Mario Party games. I really enjoy the Mini games in Mario Party 9 and 10, but the boards suck in my opinion. It's pretty much just an example of the slogan "Don't fix what isn't broken".

Talking like you have balls of steel for doing the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials 'before the end of the game'... I've always done the Flipside pit at or around chapter _four_. Think that's crazy? How about both rounds of the Flopside pit before chapter _SEVEN_ because you want to put the double damage to actual use? That was it's own kind of waking nightmare and I don't want anybody telling me how hard it is to do them when you have endgame stats. I'm not telling anybody off, just... whenever I hear someone saying that, it just reminds me of how fuckin' STUPID I was to have done that...

My last two playthroughs, I got Boomer from chapter 2, used the return pipe to get to Flipside be for completing the chapter, and did the Flipside Pit then, and did the same for the Flopside Pit, I got cudge in chapter 5 and used the return pipe to get to the Pit instantly.

I love your taste in music! I thought your treasure hunt montage would be a little boring without commentary, but your song choices were so gorgeous! I had to go back a few times as I was paying more attention to the music than the screen and didn't see the treasure. Oops. And I agree, Grambi's Shrine Theme should have covers and remixes. Fun fact about Maybi and Luvbi: When you finish the game, if you talk to Maybi again, he has purchased his DVD of "Hagtime Mysteries Show" and curses the monsters for distracting him because "live mystery hunts are better." Also, when you finish the game, I suggest you go back to Grambi's shrine. I won't spoil it, but it's really really sweet if you were sad about Luvbi turning into a Pure Heart. ;)

I think that was the last heart pillar that becomes will only become usable when you receive the final pure heart because I remember seeing something similar when I played the game. Then when I went back to the floating object their was the newly found heart pillar in it's place.
