super paper mario has such a great soundtrack. weird and quirky but also very melodic and filled with leitmotifs. I can't think of any other game that _sounds_ like it. it really feels like so much heart went into the game's music and it shows. probably my second favourite paper mario OST. as for the ranking, many of the boss themes aren't my cup of tea, so I think many of the songs that got 50-59% win rates could've been voted a little lower. but fracktail's theme tickles my brain, brobot's theme Slaps with a capital S and the final boss theme is an all-time great so I'm really happy those three did as well as they did.

SPM sounds like a weird hybrid between TOK and TTYD (GCN) and it's awesome. I agree, some got rated a bit higher than I would have liked. But I'm glad to see Fracktail doing so well since I feel his theme isn't usually in the conversation.

Nope, he uses A Powerful Enemy Emerges. I thought the same thing when I was making this but I double checked. He has cutscene music but no battle theme.
