Super-Patcher for firmware version 01.04.0500 (latest version) DJI Mavic Pro

To upgrade your previously Super-Patched Mavic to 01.04.0500 without losing your DJI Super-Patcher (github.com/bre...) mods and parameters simply use DUMLdore to flash this modified 01.04.0500 firmware file at
github.com/bre...
You can use the DUMLdore included in Super-Patcher or the stand alone version.
After flashing the modified 01.04.0500 file above the DJI Go 4 app and Assistant 2 will now correctly show your firmware version as 01.04.0500. If you already verified Super-Patcher was successful before upgrading to 01.04.0500 through this process then you need not worry about losing your mods.
For best results please also upgrade the the RC to the latest firmware 01.04.0500. Get RC firmware from DankDroneDownloader. The reason to upgrade the RC firmware is based solely on the fact that with this method the aircraft will now report to DJI Go 4 that the firmware is fully up to date and thus will no longer nag you to upgrade the firmware. The aircraft will still fly normally using any RC firmware.

Height Limit isnt working for me and some other users below. What is in the DJI app is what the drone is limited to, in my case 120m (until I change it to 500m). Either way, the docs say the app limit is ignored but it is not working, you may want to check on it and let us know what the fix is.

Good method on a mavic pro, but this also works on the dji spark, after the superpatcher I flashed a .1000 firmware without modules 305,306,801&905 with dumldore. When using the original dji go app, it says firmware .1000 is up to date. If it asks to update the fly database just hit ignore.

I think you need to repatch even if it was a 1.04.0500 with super patch the aircraft should read 00.00.000 in the app.

Brett, just patched my mavic pro with your v2.02, but it guided me through installing and patching firmware 1.04.0300. Will this new firmware be implemented in Super-Patcher in the future? THANK YOU for your work on behalf of the community, and making the software so easy to use. Some big software houses should take notes from your approach on a process that could be so convoluted.

my unit is Mavic Pro Platinum. I have tried and flashed successfully 01.04.0100, 300, and 500.and try to flashed the with the steps of SP. it all went successful only that the height limit can't be set on DJI GO 4 app, i can't also see the parameter in DHI Assistant 2 v1.1.2, all my flashes were ok, except that it can't fly more than 500m, nor the parameter g_config_flying_limit_height_limit_Enabled can be found. do you have amy idea whay happened ?

Hello, i am waiting for my mavic pro platinum to be delivered, does this mean i can install FW 01.04.0500 and use Superpatcher 2.0.2 on it or i still need to be at V01.04.0300 as the instructions say? How do you update then to 01.04.0500 via dji assistent 2 1.2.5? thanks

you don't use the DJI Assistant to update to 01.04.0500, you have to use Dumbledore.. research more before you attempt this.. just saying so you don't mess your drone up!

No you need to start this process on 01.04.0300. For best results do Super-Patcher while on 01.04.0300 THEN do this upgrade.

Can I use this firmware for jkson_fcc_mod'ed 0300 firmware? I mean: first upload clean factory firmware 0300. Then apply jkson_fcc_mod. Then upgrade firmware to 01.04.0500 with your firmware? Without applying SUPERPATCHER on any step? (as jkson_fcc_mod can be applied only on 0300)

I have the same issue, tested it today. Limit is set to 120m and it stops me at 400 ft with a warning, etc.

My DJI app still says update required. I flashed your customer FW file linked above. Under the About settings, it says 1.04.0500. In the GOFLY main page in the app, it says updates required also. I was on your modded 1.04.0300 prior to installing your modded 1.04.0500 FW. I think you stated above that this is ok... My DJI app version is 4.3.37. I dont get the "9000m" max height/altitues setting in the app. It only shows a max of 500m. I know your docs say the app is ignored but your app acts different on your phone in the video, so I wanted to ask. I am on Android and you are on IOS so maybe that is the issue. I also got some emulator errors when trying to enable the FCC mod (I removed it and then ran it again after restarting to add it back again). It seems to be still enabled as the transmission rate bar is over 90 for 1km. I was going to post them here from your log, but it doesnt show them, just that the "user asked to install FCC Mod". Thoughts on any of this?

If you have already patched your firmware, then just download the custom 500 version given in the discpription on this page at the top, download it and open DUMLdore find the 500 custom version and flash. Simple

If you start on 01.04.0300 and upgrade to .0500 using the custom version I made you can then do Super-Patcher after you have upgraded, yes. However, if you do it that way, after you have done SP on the modified 01.04.0500 the app will read your firmware version as 01.04.0300 because the header in the SP flight controller says 01.04.0300. It will actually be 01.04.0500 but the app will read the version incorrectly. For this reason the app will nag you to upgrade. Therefore I find it better to do SP on .0300 and THEN upgrade. To be clear there will be problems if you do SP on .0500 it just doesn’t solve the issue of the nags in the app to upgrade.

I Brett, thank you for your work. I have a question, not regarding this mod but the first one, with SuperPatcher 2.02: I have a Mavic Pro 1; I have followed all the instruction of Gherard Oliver video but at the end there is no choice to check the fly controller version with NLD Mod Client; I think that's for the new version... If I try with NLD Mod Client dirctly the version showed is 03.02.44.07: it's a problem? I have made only 2 fly with the new mod and in the second one I have had a connection problem during the fly, I had to power off the controller and then my MP was go back to home itself. In the time since Gherard made that video I have made changes to the process and added new optional features, such as the Smart Battery Mod and the stealth mod. Due to the way installation process works your flight controller # will differ depending on the combination of the options you choose. The last two digits could be any combination of 1s and 2s for instance xx.xx.xx.11, xx.xx.xx.12, xx.xx.xx.22, etc. Therefore I decided to change the method to verify successful installation to checking the firmware version shown in the DJI Go 4 app for simplicity. Also NLD asked me to discontinue using their app in my project because is was bogging down their content delivery server 😂
