Nightmare mode footage of some challenging stages available in the demo.
In Haunted: It's not actually necessary to pick up the lantern while using the jetpack, since you should be fast enough to circle around back into the light (notice my ghost not holding a lantern). The bouncing sequence can be made easier by sacrificing the bomb (drop the lantern into the pit, recover it by destroying the floor underneath it), but I want the bomb to save the floating boots. With an extra floating boots item, I can trade it to make the end drop sequence more consistent (simpler execution).
In fishing: Yes, I pause-scum. No, I don't think one minute survival is reasonable, not with how long it takes to try between attempts. Advice is to stay near the center, since the border limits your movement. And focus on the bombs, not the fishies.
In Jungle: I play a bit poorly, but a winning attempt is a winning attempt. I screw up a bit in the cat room (should be jumping straight from the left wall onto the snake, hence me waiting for the cycle to line up), but backup strat saves the day. In the last room, I meant to first jump on the last snake, but ehh, it worked out anyhow.
There's more to the demo than what's in the video, though I didn't save much footage of it. Dunno if there's more hidden content, but the progress I show at the end is about as far as I'm willing to go for the demo. Edit: turns out I had enough in me to complete the rest of the demo.
Also, enjoy some accidental tomfoolery as a bonus. The dev should make this the nightmare strat instead. Just kidding.
