Hi, at the joining sides part, how are we ending the single crotchet stitch?

Hi, you can end the single crochet stitch row like you do with any row doing e.g. making a slip stitch at the end and securing the extra yarn in the project by weaving.

Hi. Can we use 3-light weight yarn for making this sleeve for kindle?

Yes, you can but it might not give fuller look or thickness when you do the stitches. You also need to take hook accordingly. But you can always try...that's how you understand different yarn and their usage in a project. But keep in mind, the size of kindle sleeve might not be the same as mine for different type of yarn even with same number of stitches. So you need to increase/decrease stitch count according to your need. Hope this helps!😊

Hey, I'd love to make this for my mom, but her kindle is slightly bigger - the kindle oasis. How many chains do you think I should increase to add an extra 2.5 inches to the width?

Hey, to add extra 2.5 inches to width, you can either go with 28 chains at the start or 30 chains. I think 28 ch should be enough but you can be sure once you complete 2nd row.
