Lovely looking truck. I remember when Isuzu offered pickup trucks like this P'up. I consider it unforgivable that the Diesel was discontinued for the compact truck. Utility trucks need to be powered by diesel engines, or even better, a turbo-diesel engine.

Agreed. It's everything trucks today aren't - simple, affordable, and extremely durable. These options are back but are very expensive now.. The Dodge Ram and Chevy 4-cyl diesels are good but just too expensive and complicated compared to this .

My dad had a 85 that looked just like this one.. non turbo.. got 18 years out of it 221k on it..

We had the Chevy Luv here as well but it was more common with a gas engine over a diesel.

Definitely not a turbo diesel. They were just 2,2l diesel, no turbo.
