Super Rare! Schindler M Series Elevators at 4 Seagate in Toledo

(May 2024) These are some elevators I've been wanting to see for a long time, and I was able to finally see them! These are some extremely RARE European style Schindler elevators in the United States. These feature the touch sensitive M series buttons which I have never seen before! I also love the lanterns and the chimes!

I love the voice on these elevators! The internal chimes almost sound like Otis luxury chimes. I wonder how M Series came into America for a short time?

@@stlelevators yea I remember seeing m series on princess cruises when I was a lot younger! I can’t believe I stil remember them they were also touch sensitive I remember just putting my hand close to it to activate

One of the best Schindler buttons of all times. Fyi, Schindler has been making M-Series buttons since 1978 and even now they're still making them although not as common as back in the 1980s-1990s and they're now only seen in the Schindler 7000 elevators outside North America as an option. There was even a very rare black variant of these touch buttons which I've only seen it once in Singapore.

I'm dying to see these. The voice reminds me of the voice from the 1981 Eight Ball Deluxe pinball machine. I hope I can find an elevator with those M-Line fixtures while I'm in London, but I REALLY am desperate to see them in North America
