This is an example of a super rare italian SAME Buffalo V6 tractor. SAME trattori introduced this six-cylinder V engined tractor in 1968, but already in 1974, SAME abandoned this project and switched to an inline six-cylinder engine in the SAME Buffalo 120, the successor of the SAME Buffalo V6. The SAME Buffalo V6 remains until this day the only SAME tractor that ever sported a V6 engine. One of the very few examples of this SAME Buffalo V6 tractor could be admired and experienced at the 5th International Historic Tractor Meet 2023 in Schötz, Switzerland. The following video even shows this rare classic tractor in motion with corresponding sound, as well as the start-up of this beautiful SAME Buffalo V6.

Bemerkenswert die originale Bereifung. Das geprotze bei den Oldtimern mit den größt und breitest möglichen Radialreifen nervt.

Bellissima macchina e molto rara, per quel che ne so ne sono stati prodotti pochi, era l'epoca dei same con motore a V, dalle mie parti in giro ho visto quasi tutti i modelli della gamma a V, il buffalo sapevo che esisteva ma non l'ho mai visto in giro.A vederlo in questo video confermo come già stato detto, che questo trattore per l'epoca era tecnicamente ed esteticamente molto avanti rispetto alla concorrenza. Volevo spendere due parole per ricordare sempre riguardo all'epoca dei motori a V, del gigante Same Dinosauro con il suo possente V8, ho visto solo delle foto e a vederlo era veramente un bestia per quell'epoca, per quel che ho letto si diceva che è stato il primo trattore in Europa, ad avvicinarsi alla soglia dei 200cv,( anni 60). Per quello che sono riuscito a sapere, purtroppo sembra sia rimasto allo stadio di prototipo, non so quanti ne sono stati costruiti, il suo motore V8 è stato montato anche sul camion Same elefante, bei tempi quelli.Tornando al video del Buffalo, faccio i complimenti per il fantastico restauro.saluti

Dass es 1968 bei SAME schon Zentralantrieb der Vorderachse gab war mir nicht bekannt, fahre selber seit 1977 SAME, der Tiger Six wird dieses Jahr 40 - Pju avanti con Same war der Slogan

Die Devise lautet hier wohl - "wer sucht, der findet". Der italienische Markt dürfte hierbei primär im Fokus stehen. Vielleicht hat hier jemand auch noch einen konkreten Input?
