Just make sure you perform the mandatory steps Marida and Kshatriya 1) Stage 9A, before NT-D event, Banagher defeats Marida (Optional) 2) Stage 9A, after NT-D event, Player defeats Marida (Optional). 3) Stage 25, after Zinnerman event, Banagher fights Marida (Optional). 4) Stage 25, after Audrey event, Banagher reduces Banshee's HP below 10% (Mandatory). 5) Stage 32, Otto is Tactician (Mandatory). 6) Stage 32, Defeat Angelo before he retreats (Optional). 7) Stage 32, Marida defeats 1 enemy (Mandatory).

You pair two units up and they act as one unit. They will support attack/defend each other. They will also get partner bonuses which are exclusive to each unit. At the start of every stage, you can choose a Battle Tactician who will provide different bonuses to your units depending on the Tactician you chose.

Ok I think I get it. So basicly you upgrade a unit to 5 bars in mobility,hp, en, weapons, etc to receive unit bonus +1 (from what I understand on Akurasu). And the main unit gets the bonus from their partner?

I don't know about that since I don't upgrade units when playing SRW nowadays.
