The SRX team are the main characters of the series. There is no way they wouldn't show up, especially if there is a new upgrade. Kyousuke on the other hand... he's reached the end of his story. KInda sad, Excellen was my second favorite character after Ryuusei.

From Terada himself, we now know the official romanization is BANPReEOTH, as opposed to the before assumed name. ReEOTH being a reference to a plot point OG Gaiden that was a plan to improve the EOT used in SRX. Cool stuff!

Only bad thing about this is that when you get Aya back she takes up some of Mai's lines during attacks. While before Mai and Ryusei interact a lot more during attacks.

It's assumed that they're last-minute improvements to the R-Series' replacements, to allow them to function as the completed Banpreios, if not as seperate units.

The only way you beat Ideon is catching it by surprise (getting the Ideon Gun and Black Hole gun out of the way), attacking fast enough he can't pull Full Ide Missiles or Ideon Sword, and using an attack powerful enough to get it out of our dimension - so basically Neo Granzon, Valcazard, or any Gurren Lagann past Arc.

Banpreios Altered is pretty awesome, but my favorite super-overkill Banpresto Original is the Valzacard.

The reason why i think Banpreios and SRX is awesome, is because they can kick ass real good, and are highly mobile (at least for a super robot. super robots are usually slow and gets hit all the time)

Terada said he couldn't fit the Masoukishin cast in the OG series for plot reasons BEFORE, but EX is the first game that the other 3 Masoukishin ever existed in, and it is first game that could be used to ever get them into the OG series so 2nd OG is actually the first OG game they could ever be in and they probably will be.

Well it's supposed to be. But they had to rush to complete it, so they put the peices together and disabled the transforming mode. So while the pieces of the new R-Series are there, they cant' separate.

Hmm? Kyosuke's story is over, that's why you will be glad to hear that Kyosuke is now a "vet" in 2nd OG and will be joining the game a bit later than Ryusei and Mai. Though sadly the rest of the SRX team wont be joining the party until late in the game, so you can't make the SRX for a while. I think they said they're doing that for balancing reasons and they wanted to highlght the R-1 and Art-1 more and have the R-2 and R-3 appear for a stage or so than leave again until they finally join.

@deceitninja Incorrect. The Banpreios is the combined form of the ART-series (the successors to R-1,2, and 3). In @3 they couldn't get it all working right because development was rushed so the transformation was locked in place. It is still a combined unit, but it is hard-wired to be unable to decombine.

That's a Banpresto Original. It's from a series called SRX that was created by Banpresto specifically for the Super Robot Wars video games and its spinoffs. Normally it's 3 people piloting it, but this is an upgrade from the robot I'm thinking of and from the videos I saw it's more like 4... and it can combine with R-GUN Powered, so it's 5 for certain attacks.

Well, seeing as the SRX is essentially Banpresto's mascot (hell, they turned their LOGO into the SRX =p), and considering the development of the ART-1 in Original Generations Gaiden, it seems MORE than likely that the Banpreios will show up in the inevitable OG3. Which, in essence, means shiny shiny pretty robot explodyness =p

Maby Mio to she was pretty cool. I think the bigger problem is the way the game trolls people who were actualy looking forward to using them. 17 stages of EX plot (witch has seemingly nothing to do with the rest of the game) then they all bugger off untill towards the end.

Last minute improvements. Only downside is that it can't separate and I wouldn't consider that a downside in any way, shape or form, since you'll really only want Rai and Aya to support an already powerful mech rather than downgrade to three mediocre ones.

Sadly you're right, the lame Masoukishin cast got in 2ndOGs. Shame, they're just taking up space. OG only needs Masaki, Lune, the cats, Cybuster, Valsion, Shuu, and his (Neo) Granzon. We're still years off still the Banpreios gets in the OG verse but at least the ART-1 is getting a ton of spotlight with Mai piloting it still. No idea if she still retains her combo, love love rumble, attack with Ryusei or not thouh.

well if you think about it was an improve after SRX was totally defeated.... but if you look at the body you can tell the bottom is still the R3 hard to tell if the other 2 is R2 and R1 or R blade.... hmph..........

StriderHiryu120 Ok, what happened is this. At the end of Alpha 1, the SRX project is dismantled. R1 and 2 are destroyed, the R3 being spared because Mao basically bought it off the government and the R Gun because Viletta saved it and ran away. (canonically, you save Mai, but Viletta came with her.) This is because Ingram was suspected of leaking secrets to the Balmarians (since he was mind controlled and all.) After Alpha Gaiden, R3 and R Gun get dismantled, but the SRX team isn't sent to jail like what was originally intended. However, offscreen they begin work on something to surpass the SRX In Alpha 3, the Balmarians and the STMC start attacking again, and they hurriedly attempt to both rebuild the SRX and build the R machines. They fail to get the SRX working in time (it is destroyed), but they managed to build Banprios. As a time and cost cutting measure, though, it was assembled in fully combined state and unable to decombine, which was also to increase efficiency (SRX could only combine ten times in Alpha 1).

This is a great video, but it kind of bugs me that MX doesn't have those annoying black screens in between attacks and Alpha 3 does, even though @3 was released after MX. x_x When you compare them to MX, they really seem choppy.
