I think for Jigoku hen this guy has better animations than Macross F team who all seem to have nerfed animations compared to Saisei hen for some reason. Also I wish in the next Tengoku hen we get Battle 7 and Maximillian Genus/Miria Genus couples' VF-22S with the full attack animation having that insane maneuver that Max performed while attacking the cave where the Protodevlun were sleeping in, the one where he's flying in a super narrow cave but still avoiding all the turret fire rapidly. Macross 7 is known for having bad battle animations but that episode alone was truly awesome. Also the M.M. Genus attack has to have that crazy animation where the couple were flying without being hit even once from the two teleporting protodeviluns. If you think about what kind of reaction speed you need to achieve that it's just crazy how good they are. I respect Amuro as the #1 pilot among real robot pilots and Max is the only one I think who can fight evenly with him.
