Cube: MoYu RS3M V2 (Ball-Core with springs from a RS3M 2020)
Setup: 5 compression clicks, Gravitas & Traxxes 1 Million on the tracks Weight 5 on the pieces
I received all 3 versions of the cube, I haven't spent much time with the maglev yet, but here are some thoughts on the other two versions.
The standard feels soft smooth and controllable, it's also very light, resulting in a very unique feel. I don't overshoot and the cube is pretty reliable.
The Ballcore is compact, clicky, extremely fast, and glidy. (I have decided to replace the maglev with springs to add more control)
I believe this cube is similar in performance to the V9, choosing between them is up to personal preference. The Super RS3M V2 is larger, faster, more blocky, and has weaker magnets than the V9.
The Weilong V9 does still hold the edge in raw corner cutting performance, flexibility, and controllability (due to the stronger magnets)
Its a very good cube. My only problem with it is the price, I think its just too expensive to be part of the RS line, as that line has always been budget oriented, and I feel this cube doesn't fit in.
I believe that If this cube were released under a different line or even changing the name to the "RS3M Pro" would have been better, as naming it the V2 sets the tone for future releases no longer being budget friendly.
