Regardless of the results; Moana Pasifika and Fijian Drua are playing phenomenal rugby at this moment!! You can see how well they've progressed compare to last season! Maybe not this world cup but hopefully in 2027 we'd love to see Samoa/Fiji atleast make it to quarter finals

Couldn't Moana pasifika arrange it to be held on a Saturday? Or maybe cut the ticket prices abit?I'm sure heaps are still at work and wish to be there at the grounds, crowds are an important part of the game especially for us in the Pacific, when they play and see a huge crowd it's a different story, they play with pride. Saturday would be an ideal day for the game. The people from the big Island, and from the Falealii and Aleipata regions would have loved to be there watching the game but its all good. Hopefully next time we'll have a Saturday game.

Crusaders First Season they came last, Not going to say Moana is ever going to win it, but every original team that is still in the competition today has won super rugby at least once now. No the Force and Rebels don't count they are later expansion teams, and the South African Teams are no longer in it. But Reds/Waratahs/Brumbies and all the NZ teams have all won it at least once. SA teams are a different story, only Bulls have won it.

Not a bad first attempt at taking Moana Pasifika to the islands despite the main pavilion behind the camera being packed compared to the embankments. Hopefully they try Tonga next season and make it a Saturday kickoff, but yeah still a very long season for Moana.

I think this match underlined the tactical difference in both teams. Individually, Moana and Drua are already there. But in this game, so many Reds tries were run in through Moana’s half backs, especially McClutchie (whose raw offensive talent I’ve been a big fan for years) Both teams can clearly run with the ball, but where Moana targets free space, Reds manipulate their attack so that their galloping forwards would target the smallest guys of the opposition. That’s the difference in the tactical acumen of 9, 10, and 12. In spite of all that, Drua and Moana are a treat to watch. Those guys just love rugby like no one else, and love to run the ball like no one else. I could watch those all field tries with three offloads all day long. And they play like that rain or shine. I’m a Euro, but I would like to see a PI team make the RWC semis before I kick the bucket.

It's not Mugger, the rugby culture they been trained is not professional one, they get easy very complacent, not committed to put the bodies on the line, to much 7,s, reliant massively on individual sparks not team and so on. For me departure of south African teams diluted forever a dying patient called super rugby. Just remember the first editions of super 12 ,what a great games, what an healthy crowds. The times when SH was years ahead of big boys from Europe. So sad, big all blacks and Springboks fan from Romania here.

Well 1st it's not a full on Samoan side like the Drua are for Fiji, 2nd just 1 local Samoan player, and lastly its Friday and the game started at 5pm and most of us who are interested in rugby clocks out at 5pm, so unless its an international manu Samoa game it ain't worth getting fired for😂😂
