Future Trunks should have been completely erased too. That's the way I saw the story going and felt it poetic and fitting for the future trunks character. He lived years after future gohan and protected the earth in that timeline but ultimately met his end just as gohan did in that very same timeline, and keeping future trunks completely dead for the foreseeable future. As much as I certainly love goku and would forever and always say he's vastly superior to vegeta this would have been the perfect arc to double down on the TFS DBZ abridged goku hate and or goku hate in general, it would be clearly proven and justified by goku being the clear catalyst for everything happening in that timeline if future trunks had been erased with no way to bring him back. The ONE TIME the goku hater fans can and will be actually correct in their arguments of goku that are not based solely on the DBZ abridged joke memes to support their arguments and they don't even take the opportunity to bash goku when those goku hate fans will actually be right for once. New returning DBZ fans I swear... Goku's zeal for physical battle is what pushed zamasu over the edge in the first place at least from the story standpoint. Whis should have scolded goku over this development and vegeta could have shown some level of animosity towards goku from everything transpiring then going forward into later stories if future trunks had been erased as well. I believe the initial drafts and storyboards of this arc were written to kill trunks off but they changed the ending because so many fans would have been thoroughly heated over future trunks being killed off in the ending and complained to the high heavens over the ending. This would have been the perfect time for the writers to say screw them fans were telling the story not them eff their feelings. If they don't like a fan favorite character getting killed off then tough titty for them. We writers choose the direction of the story not the fans, like it or not. The goku black arc should have been the best bittersweet ending of Dragonball super to this day. The cult loved saiyan heroes somewhat save the day but permanently lost a fan favorite character in future trunks. Their godlike power can't always save the day, there can and will be irreplaceable casualties for all the fighting situations saiyans. The dragonballs, super dragonballs, or angels can't reverse everything!!!

It's meant to be a Corrupted version of SSJB with Zamasu's evil heart in the body of a Goku and evil god essence so it's not really a fraud form as it is a tainted form.

Black would've copied it. Everything Goku did in the anime, black mimicked shortly after. Had Goku used kaioken and not one shotted black, he'd adapt and on top be able to use kaioken up to 20x, at that point everyone would've died

Rosé fell to off really hard, when you get to Dragon Ball it looks and feels so menacingly cool... yet after you watch it and realize how the arc is shit as hell (in the anime, Manga version is WAY better but dragon ball fans don't read) the form just doesn't feels as cool and it's just kinda... there, it's goes from a menace form to a super saiyan blue with swords

The manga GB arc is overrated on a whole new level, it drowns in plot holes, inconsistencies and conveniences and is miles away from being better than the anime. The only good things the manga does are fights, handling of forms and maybe some story pacing. The anime is not as shit if you actually take the time to listen to the dialogue, as Goku Black and Zamasu are tenfolds better than in the manga, where all unique personality is stripped from them. SSJ Goku Black makes no sense. And more. Manga and Anime both have aspects that are good, bad and absolutely terrible. They're equal at best

Because the colour of rose is influenced by the god ki from zamasu, and blue from goku. Super saiyan is just the basic, non-god version of blue/rose, so it should remain the same.

The anime is far from amazing, but the manga is not better. It just does things differently. In some cases better, in some others worse. Preferring it is always fine, telling me bullshit like the godly soul increases a zenkai cap is so ridiculous and stupid, that I am just losing hope. False. Goku can control the ki output of every form, if he used god when he didn't want to hurt people. Why did he use ssj3 against 17? The most unstable form no less. He simply used god because as stated in the manga ssj3 Goku = mastered ssj2 Trunks, so Goku switched to god to end it quickly.

I need an explanation as to how zenkai don't work when near death any more since it one of the unique ability that sayains have and what makes them powerfully warriors I would get if the ssg forms negate it because of the healing ability that it has with the god forms because didn't goku use the healing ability in the moro or granola arc with ssg or blue if it tied to the god forms then yes since it would be abusing the power like vegeta gets stab use the healing ability and gets a zenkai only tied to the god forms normal ss it still works since the body is not using god ki it relaiyng on god ki to maintain the body alive

I can not understand how a ssj2 trucks is stronger than a ssj3 goku. That makes no sense at all. Even less slightly more skilled than Goku. Even if you want to say that trucks has been training with the supreme Kai. Goku has been training with whis, absorb the God kai in his base form and all ready been training hard even before that.
