Let's go climb the bridge! In what sense?! Eh, there's an all-studded bridge.... but where?! Near here, in Biassono. OK let's go!
We start from Milan, some by bicycle, some with their own vehicle. It takes an hour by pedaling and about 30 minutes by car, traffic permitting.
You arrive, skirting the Lambro, at the Ponte Gerno cliff. A somewhat surreal place. A bridge with 4 huge pylons and two railways that pass one above and one on the side. The walls of these pylons have become the gym for all those who, decades ago, living in the Milan area did not have gyms available and could not go to some valley or crag during the week. We met two of them who told us about the very hard work involved in building these lines and the convenience and advantage of training on walls like these.
The hole conglomerate is the perfect surface for training forearms, fingers and precision with feet that cannot be seen/are not there.
For those who want to increase the difficulty a little, there are also two huge vaults where you can traverse both on the coast and completely overhanging, in this case we assure you that it is quite scary.

There isn't much on these pitches because apparently, according to the municipality, it's not that "safe" to climb on a structure like this and it could perhaps compromise the structure...
We leave it to you and the 8m by 8m wide pillars to draw conclusions.
It is certainly not the place where you can see an uncontaminated panorama hanging at high altitude, but it is an absolutely evocative place, highly training, historic and truly convenient for those who want to have a quick outing even in half a day.
