The 3DS' Classic Mode still had that Original formula back in smash 64 (where it doesnt involve 8 player smash) but it took out the option 2 set your stock (Which kinda sucks) Reasons why: U still have Metal Battles Fighters where faught in their home stages. (Not that U can say fighters from different universes) It's not that kinda classic mode on the Wii U where it's set up as a tournament with elimination style gameplay. I had nothin 2 with 8 player smash

This mode is so much better it's not even funny, that stupid amiibo thing they did on Wii U was so dumb. They obviously tried to show off how 8 player Smash worked, but lemme tell you, it feels like Multiman melee but less fun.
