Oh yeah, if you don't KO the Master Core when it's revealed, it does instant KO waves not unlike Tabuu from Brawl. If you survive, then it self-destructs.

+Dan The Enigma It only does five though, and they're spaced so if you have two stocks by the time you reach that form, you can let it kill you once, then just chill on the respawn platform and wait for it to blow itself up.

if you wait too long to destroy it, the core will do an instant kill attack. if you manage to dodge all of those attacks it will self destruct

Even if Master Core is no longer in Ultimate, thank god cause it was super stressful on Wii U & 3DS, it's still astonishing for doing no damage with Twilight Princess Ganondorf but imagine how Ocarina Of Time Ganonforf in Ultimate would have made massive damage with his sword by using all smash attacks! :O

Honestly, every time I fought the Master Core, that part is always the easiest for me, for some reason. The part right before that, where he becomes the swords is always the part that I have the most trouble with.

Dusty Chan Then try do a whole run from 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, until you can do 9.0 the whole way through. If you're good at the character it should be easy enough, I main Falcon and Ness and managed to start at 8.0
