***** brawl and the upcoming one werent made by the same developers, HAL Lab inc. only melee/DX and 64. thts why u might notice brawl doesn't really share the same aspects as melee, i mean brawl they kinda made a story out of brawl but melee focused more on just u as a toy beating up other toys.

A legendary bonus video for this legendary series! Super Smash Bros; will always be my favorite video game franchise of all time to the very end of my life!

I've always loved Smash Bros. Not just Melee, but the whole series as a whole. And it just makes me happy to see how far it's gone. From a celebration of Nintendo's finest and obscure, to an even bigger celebration of video games as a whole. I hope by the time the last DLC character is released we'll have a special movie like this, but if we don't, it's okay because the 20 year ride was worth it.

The best iteration of Captain Falcon was in Melee and the 64 in my opinion but in Melee they perfected him. Since Brawl he’s just not the same, improved quite a bit in Ultimate compared to Brawl but nothing compared to his 64 or Melee counterparts. Melee was and is the best Smash Bros that ever existed and to ever exist, nothing will top it and quite close comes the 64.

Beta Parts: No projectiles from Kirby's a button combo, Mario says "wah" when he picks up the hammer, Falcon has the same Falcon Punch speed from the N64 version, Peach says "Yahoo" when she threw the Mr. Saturn at Bowser, Peach taunts and says "all right" instead of "sweet", Falcon's taunt is a little choppy, Fox's Up B gets a little less distance, you could select the same color without team matches, Popo has an unused voice clip heard at the end, and there's extra platforms on the Temple stage. That is all I noticed.

As person who grew up playing Melee almost all the time, watching this almost makes me want to cry because of how nostalgic and creative it was at the time and even by today’s standards this still holds up. I’ve went through so many copies of Melee but my longest owned copy and save file dates back to February 2nd 2008. When I checked my records in the game my very first achievement was completing Adventure Mode on Very Hard. It’s hard to believe that I’ve had this copy and save data since before Brawl came out and look where we are *Sobs*

My copy of Smash Bros Melee for GameCube should arrive next week. I lost my original 2001 copy due to moving around a lot and my GameCube along with. Thankfully I have a gen1 Wii which can play Gamecube games and works like a champ. I also still have my GameCube memory cards with the save data on it. I can’t wait to relive my childhood, the best moments ever.

The first set of SFX were taken directly from a specific point in EarthBound before you go to the Cave of the Past and finally battle Giygas. It's when Poo's Starstorm teacher comes back and gives him Starstorm Ω. The UFOs? I absolutely love how they placed those UFO sfx in because it just adds with the chaotic nature of the opening movie's intro.
