Piranha Plant has his route's name because it references him being a new fighter, all opponents he fights in his classic mode are new to Smash as well

In Piranha Plant's Classic Mode, the opponents are newcomers to the vanilla game, with Rathalos maintaining the recency theme because Monster Hunter is newer than Castlevania. It would have been very cool for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to have Mario Party DS music in Piranha Plant's DLC pack considering that Piranha Plant is the first boss in Mario Party DS, and Piranha Plant is the hardest boss in Mario Party DS (when I was little, I used to be messed over). A slightly altered version of Piranha Plant's Classic Mode would use the Mario Party DS boss music during the fight with Rathalos, and the Mario Party DS credits music would be in the credits of Piranha Plant's Classic Mode.

CHECK THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE GAME. Person 2: What is the theme?/ DuH nEwCoMeRs DuUuUuUhHhHh!!!! The theme for this . . . thing is newcomers from Ultimate and no it is not obvious because not everyone got the memo for the theme of this thing. Person 3: CoRrUpTeD dAtA iF pLaYeD oN aLl-StAr MoDe Then . . . don't do it? If so then Nintendo would be working on it in no time, plus . . . WHO PLAYS ALL-STAR MODE?! It’s not the fighters pass You have to register your game with your Nintendo account, and then you’ll eventually receive a code related to it. Secondly, check manually if your game is up to date
