What is a man? A miserable little pile of secrets. I believe this is based off Rondo of Blood’s last boss, also SOTN’s prologue. Boy, Nintendo must be getting stuff from Sony if you know what I mean. We got Cloud and Snake (probably Simon and/or Richter Belmont because they were seen on PS1 but for Simon, it was Castlevania Chronicles which is possibly a remake, correct me if I’m wrong) who were heroes of PS1 games.

I can't seem to wrap around the concept, who are the bosses from the Castlevania games the fighters try represent in each stage? hehehe

From what I can see, the first boss is tough to figure out. My best guess is Incineroar is Werewolf. King K Rool can be based off of maybe some sort of monster, I am guessing Minotaur as he is fought alongside Werewolf. The second boss, Ridley, is giant bat or purple wyvern. Bayonetta is probably meant to represent the more alluring, female bosses like Carmilla or Succubus. Dark Pit is probably representative of Malphas the dark angel. King Dedede and Charizard are most likely the two bosses Sloga and Gaibon. They are always fought together in Castlevania games. Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo are hard. My best guess is the three represent the Headhunter Fight in Aria of Sorrow; a "beautiful twisted woman" (Mewtwo), a "crooked man" (Ganondorf), and a monster (Bowser). They could also represent the Trevor (Ganondorf), Grant (Bowser), and Sylpha (Mewtwo) boss in SOTN. Richter is Richter, likely based off his fight in SOTN. Dracula is...well. Die monster, you don't belong in this world!
