When I heard that Sephiroth's Classic Mode was a Boss Run, I remember thinking to myself "Oh man, I am going to suck at that!" Tried it for the first time the other day on the hardest difficulty.... Got a 9.9! Either I'm pretty damn good with Sephiroth or that was pretty easy!

I got 9.9 as well, it's very easy. Bosses die when their hp hits 0 while fighters need to be pushed off the stage, hence why it's a lot easier yo fight bosses

Hmmm... We didn't even see a Cloud boss battle at all, it is part of Final Fantasy VII so why was it left out? A boss rush with only one life (did not like the one life feature in classic mode), not an easy run even if you use a ticket to stop the mural from decreasing in value, it counts as a continue regardless since you see a number at the end. A 0 must be at the end to classify as a full no continue/1CC. However, this was a great replay Beardbear did!

You might have already noticed this, but Master Hand has always been the final boss in Classic Mode in Super Smash Bros. Original - For Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and then Crazy Hand comes in to assist the Mastet Hand on a higher difficulty in Melee - For Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and I have not forgotten the Master Core in For Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, but Master Core has been removed. Sephiroth is fighting every boss, so I'm guessing that's why Master Hand and Crazy Hand are the final boss. You probably found something fitting for Galeem to be Sephiroth's opponent, but for a full boss fight, it seems like Master Hand and Crazy Hand are more likely to be the final boss.

I'm honestly impressed by this one since not a lot of other boss rushes in various games have been considered "good" other than Kid Icarus: Uprising and the Kirby series (something of which I've watched from Top Fifteen Worst Cliches by KZbinr joshscorcher). They're fun, fairly short (if you can master them at the very least), and they aren't really mandatory to complete the game.

Cursed boss rush! Sure, Sephiroth is like Akuma of this game. He hits hard and has great mobility whether it's grounded or aerial, but his durability & endurance was not as infamous as his source material as he has the same in-game weight of Kirby, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Olimar. Because of that, I need to remember the bosses' patterns carefully, dodge, shield, or use Down B at the right time to defend, and try to deal a large amount of damage as I can before having to avoid again. This Classic Mode was only for those who have mastered all characters' Classic Mode especially knowing all bosses you've faced before. Thankfully it's nowhere near as infamous as that goddamn finale of that universally hated "World of Light". If only if there's an easy way to get the Boss Spirits without having to go through "World of Light" all over again. I was hoping for the upcoming update that can do that.

I JUST completed Sephiroth's Classic Mode route at 9.9. today! And I didn't lose ANY of my coins, Classic Mode Tickets or Stocks for the first time ever with this DLC character, unlike how I lost bunches of times with my ex-main, Dark Pit, while completing his route long before these new characters showed up but I still ended up getting 9.9. either way thanks to my 99 Classic Tickets and using one of my continues. Sephiroth is my second character to reach 9.9., the first to complete it being my ex-main, Dark Pit. I'm VERY happy that I didn't lose even ONCE with this legendary one-winged angel who is also my brand new main for 2021 after I ditched my ex-mains, Joker, Falco, Blue Yoshi and Dark Pit for him when Sephiroth first showed up back in December 2020.
