Robin uses their sworda for most of their attacks, and Zelda uses the same magic for 80% os her moveset, only changing for her specials and aerials. A fully magic user, that uses a lot of different spells instead of the same one for most of their attacks would be so cool!

Some people did not understand the situation. Galeem was a multiversal entity that earlier in the game's initial cinematics, spewed its light throughout that space, consuming all the smashers and other large entities in the multiverse, turning them into spirits. Galeem was cut in half as if it were nothing. The One-Winged Angel, showed up without any invitation and simply took out the strongest boss in the game, and again. Without any invitation. *Sephiroth went far beyond any other smasher in this giant crossover. His reveal was Splendid, Impactful, Ascending, Perfect and Smashing.*

This trailer hit so hard because of several factors. He’s THE poster boy of villains, he’s THE original Anime Sword Fighter, his theme is upon the most widely known just in music, not even just as a theme. The most impressive of all was that Nintendo kept it under wraps so incredibly well. No one knew! Not a single leak, not even a rumor. No one asked for Sephiroth, but dude was EASILY the one people were most readily able to accept. He’s super popular but isn’t overbearing like Minecraft Steve or Sora (love both of them, but be honest, they’re suffocating with how much they were talked about prior, during, and post reveal), and his significance helped welcome him (or I guess… let him in?) to the universe of Smash. Few asked, but no one will argue that his legacy is more than deserving of earning a spot in THE ultimate crossover game. Ladies and Gentleman… Sephiroth.

The only one from that list who can put a fight is Sonic in his Super Form... and this is just because he is invincible on that form basically but still, when he is out of rings then is a RIP.

Shulk for a brief period of time becomes a literal God, able to warp reality with the Monado. The monados abilities also make him functionally immune to physical attacks (Speed), able to seal auras (Purge), mitigate ~80% of any damage taken (Armour), negate buffs + inflict DOT (Eater), negate any "special" abilities (Shield), plus seeing the future and the reality warping he gains.
