Kirby is one of the strongest, his bosses are leagues above other games, he basically fights universe ending entities daily. Also a star would probably be one of the only things capable of outspeeding a light beam. And he can teleport.

The funniest thing is that Nintendo didn't have to do 90% of the things they've done in this game. 40 character, 15 of them could've been new. Online Mode Arcade Mode And Classic Mode That is all they had to do to make the game sell well. People would have been excited as well. But did they do that? No. They had to put like 10 games worth of content in a small 60$ package.

You really can't be disappointed. This is above and beyond what most games provide.

Considering how much money they have spent in the development of the character and how much money they are splurging on those high-quality CGI trailers I don't think Nintendo actually seeks to make money on the game sales. They are totally banking in the Nintendo Online services at this point and are willing to make the best fighting game ever no matter the cost so people will keep buying and renewing their subscription. Or they are just swinging their golden money cock around because they are Nintendo and they just can. Basically, they have infinite money. I mean how much do each of those trailers cost?

Oh I'm sure they will. It's not cheap but they've got pipelines and processes nailed down for creating content. No company would build something like this to sell at a loss unless they thought it would be made up indirectly as a result.

That just speaks to how well Nintendo has their backend set up, and how much PROFIT they are willing to let go of in the name of quality and fan satisfaction. Because you can't buy satisfaction and that indirectly increases their value across their brand. Smash will make money.

plus all the new animations, mechanics with smash controls, hearing fans on health bar & smash meter, balancing spirits to be fair and adjusted even fans dont use it (like the trophies people skipped in prev games that took more hours of modeling to get some vs using the official game art to get exponentialy more NPCs in the game). fanservice without ecchi oppai.

Kirby was not fast but he used the "Warp Star" that allows you to "leave the map" and come back, because even if he had been faster than Sonic, he would have had no place to go since the entire universe/galaxy was destroyed filling the screen with light

Great reaction, and I agree with that "This it's so much content" at a 100%. 103 maps, 74 characters, tons of music and many ways to use it, more than 5 modes to play, challenges, tournaments, classic, arcade, collectibles and after all of that story/adventure mode. You have more than 1 game there, more than any fake 10/10 of this year and the past 2 years, and you can have more of it, because I was not counting the DLCs. So if you are disappointed for any excuse like, your character is not there, you didn't like the characters they showcase, the spirit mode is lame, no trophies and all of that ones, you deserve that fake 10/10 that make you waste money for nothing in it. I know that Iwata will be proud to see this, how glad he would be to see that they are doing all this hard work to have fun with us.

I got it for free and i can tell you multi player was fine but "Adventure" mode was straight 🗑 i got so bored i couldn't even finish it. subspace shits on it easily and is overall a better game cuz of it.

I don't think so since all the Smash characters are a "mini" version of the originals, and I say this because it is as if their powers had been minimized and therefore Sonic would not have been able to run as fast, what he could've have done is using the Chaos Emerald to teleport to another dimension, maybe that could have been his plan and that's why he tried to save Pikachu but he couldn't do it

@ I go on react binges sometimes and the majority of the ones I see on world of light always include "this is like infinity war! Thanos!" The only thing those two things would have in common is that the characters instantaneously disintegrate and even then that's a thin comparison. I get it. Both things came out in the same year so fandom/geekdom/nerdom ect. Was at a highish point. Still a little cringe to see when it happens 6/10 times in react vids

So really it's more recency bias playing a part in people's minds to make that connection. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's irreparable specially with how huge that moment was, which you mentioned yourself.
