i've played in tournaments, but i can speak for people who haven't before, and that i underestimated them. I have seen that you really can get better at this game by playing the same person in multiplayer over and over again until you're ready for anything. I've never won a tournament, but i've gotten really damn close. also, z-canceling, short hopping, and "fast falling" are all basic abilities in this game. And need i remind you that this isn't /b/?

two of my friends and i played against isai at rutgers (New Jersey) once. individually, he 5 stocked 2 of us twice, 5 stocked the 3rd once and 4 stocked him once (all 5 stock games). when we play f4a we always gang up on the person doing the best, so we did that to him until he was even with us. he still won. the guy is insane at this game with every character but hes a douche. hated on us for not playing for $ against him to no end. just kept whining. and didnt like us for ganging him. whined.
