Little bit of feedback too, I'd be awesome if the gerudo valley track went all the way through the fortress and around. Kind of like a bowser's castle. I think the hack has potential, but Link's stats need to be balanced a bit more. Also, Gerudo Road needs _a lot_ of work. The rubberbanding just doesn't work quite as well on that stage, and the inside of the fortress needs arrows. You can't see where you're supposed to go (the mini-map doesn't tell you) and the lights coming from the windows obstruct your vision a lot. Otherwise a pretty cool hack, though.

Yeah was gonna say about Gerudo Valley, it was WAY too punishing corners for a game with handling like Mario 64. It did not look like a fun course to play at all, despite how cool it looked.

Captain Falcon and Link should've been opposite. Link roaring like a beast because he doesn't speak, Falcon having a distinctive voice. I know it's just placeholder audio from the characters they're replacing but still.

Gerudo Road really needs a smoother turn into the fortress and Aqua Star Isle is glitchy; especially with that respawning.

Should've used the Melee model of Samus as a base for the sprites, the Other M design sticks out like a sore thumb with the rest of N64 era characters.

The tracks sometimes confuse many because despite having map 1 you get half lost while competing, due to lack of signage it has happened to me several times in the Mario Kart mods, but at the same time it is fun to browse the tracks new so far amped kart and hoottime seemed good to me, it would be ideal to try that game there

I actually liked this, it was hard to find a z64 version of mario kart online, so I found a rom converter though which made it into a z64 type of rom, cause it gave me the error saying check to verify if your ok Good64 or GoodN64, project64 1.6, a problem on the game is that after finishing each full 4 course stages, it’d not go to the award ceremony thing but right back to the select 50, 100 or 150b speed stages and when trying to select any of them, it’d display the R4 error window said the R4 error Luckily I can resume where I left off by just reopening the emulator I almost giggled when I heard Kirby’s voice still toads 😂 voice, I was like oh no new voice overs yet and that made me think though, there needs to be more visible videos, known about hacking tools for this game, cause discord is either really quiet and takes long times to get a response back from anyone, so i was like, cmon, mario 64 has everything known about how to remake the whole game, so wheres more n64 games support there to?

Unless they decide to make Mario Kart more of a celebration of the Mario series by including more characters from the past and the RPGs and other spinoffs like DKC and Wario Land and theming the courses closer to the games, then I really hope they do make a Smash Kart some day, I think it would be a lot more interesting than what they're currently doing with Mario Kart.

The flickering textures either means the install was done wrong or you have a version meant for emulator and actual hardware cant process the texture

⭐ Please do 20 characters, put Toad back in. It will always suck without Toad. Put Peach in because she is so funny and great to beat up since her reactions and voice are so funny. Bowser and Wario are awesome and need to be in it. Like hooting time please put in Toadette, Kamek, Wiggler and definitely please add in Conker from Diddy Kong Racing. Don't just add smash bros characters. We all just want Awesome characters in it and don't care about the theme.

This looks so amazing and I look forward to the full release with more tracks and characters. Though I will say that Gerudo Valley needs that turn at the beginning of the track to be adjusted. You can't tell where to go the first time playing, and is overall just difficult to complete. There are other things on it that might need to be worked on, too. Plus I think Link's acceleration definitely needs to be improved because what he has now looks a bit too unbalanced. But other than that, this has a lot of potential.
