Before even knowing Sonic the Hedgehog was even a thing, when I was little I used to play the original Super Mario Bros.a lot on a famiclone console I owned (look up Terminator 2 famiclone).
Years later and I've come around full circle, only this time I'm playing with Sonic the Hedgehog in Mario's levels. And truth be told, I had a blast playing this. Props to the devs behind Sonic Boll, they nailed the controls here. Also anyone who says blocky level design doesn't work in a Sonic game need to play this.
I also used the 8 bit Sonic sprite to make it feel like Sonic actually fits in the game. Did a full playthrough of what is essentially Super Sonic Bros. with no shortcuts.

Looks fun and I definitely want to play it, but dang Sonic seems a bit overpowered (the flag poles for instance aren't a threat to Sonic's high jump). All in all, very impressive, especially the special stages!

Huh, basically Super Mario Bros except wack, remade and with sonic characters. Once Flash stops working, I guess I can play this to get the same feeling I got from playing Super Mario Crossover.
