Super Sped up travel To Tarlac city

2024.07.03 - There is a bypass highway toward the province of Pangasinan which cannot be used by heavy transport vehicle being that the highway has plenty of tight curves and corners. The highway is not developed to carry heavy loads and over time, I can see that this highway will gradually be improved as it will save travel time for motorists. This is the first time we used this highway, lots of beautiful lookout overlooking the mountain view and the plains beyond the mountain. I was surprised to see pine trees, wow I thought..
We needed to be in Tarlac City for a conference so the travel started at 7:30 AM the day of 28 June. Travel time from Roxas to Tarlac City was a little less than 7 hours and over 8 if we used AH26 Santa Fe-Dalton pass, that road is used heavily by heavy transport vehicles and other motorists travelling to Manila and other places, and they would have been an obstacle in traversing the mountain.
Nelia was afraid of the scenery of sheer cliff and landslides so coming back to Roxas we used the heavily traffic highway AH26 toward Dalton pass and Santa Fe. Frankly, part of AH26 highway from Dalton pass toward town of Santa Fe, we saw many heavy transport breakdown slowing and halting the traffic, it is simply an obstacle course. The highway needs to be widened ASAP, it is hurting business by slowing the traffic from Cagayan valley to Manila and vice versa..
