This reminds me of how an Espada, named Szayelaporro, died in Bleach; obviously, spoilers if you haven''t seen it. Szayelaporro accidentally ingested a drug, created captain Kurotsuchi, that increased his reaction time the point that a mere second felt like a century. Problem was, his body couldn't keep up with with his mind; effectively paralyzing him. Then, in an incredibly cruel move, Kurotsuchi slowly stabbed him through the heart; giving Szayelaporro an agonizing death that lasted for several centuries, from his perspective.

The Warp Zone actually did a full video/skit on the Flash specifically. How the amount of calories you would have to eat to maintain that level of physical and mental capability and not die of starvation would bankrupt most people, how conversations would feel like watching movies or shows on 0.25× speed for the rest of your life etc. Really, super speed and a reaction time to go with it, is both a blessing and a curse if we look at it realistically
