Gee, that looks just like my electric J model. What a great machine.

Very nice Spliter, is it really that quiet with the electric motor? I really like quiet.

I play music through my phone's speaker and can hear it just fine while splitting. How was I not aware of this splitter all my life? It's an excellent decision.

Hello Roger I pulled the trigger on this splitter today myself. I've never used or seen one in person. I decided to go with the HD due to the stronger electric motor. I know they warn against letting it stall could cause damage to the electric motor over time. I ran a firewood business for a few years back in 2010 in addition to my regular business. Anyway are you open to some questions? Thanks

@@ROGERWALDMAN Thanks. I hope it's all it looks to be. Any regrets? Any 'wish I had know that'? Any weaknesses with the electric model that just aggravate you? Is the 'quiet' operation what you thought it would/could be? Anything you'd do different in your selection of a splitter? How do you keep mud dobber wasps from making nests inside the electric motor? Any weaknesses or Achilles heels you've come across? Is the roller that rides on the main beam as much of a problem as so many others talk about it being? 2 or 3 years ago I began switching over to battery powered Stihl equipment. I use the battery powered Kombi system and purchased a Stihl MSA 220 battery limb saw. I now use that saw to cut most of my firewood. I cherry pick my logs and try to stay in the 3"-12" diameter range. I agree with your comments that it seems electric is the way things are headed and I'm so tired of the fuel issues and noise and vibration. I'm not sure we'll ever get away from our gas powered 'big' saws, but who knows. I noticed how you were picking up your logs for bucking. Have you ever seen or used the LG46 by Vermeer? I bought my first one in 2007 and it changed my business forever. I have two of them now. The splitter I purchased for my firewood business in 2010 was a Timber wolf TW-7. It was $14,000 back then. It's probably $100,000 now. 😆😆 Anyway thanks for your time. I'll likely think of more questions. Super Split told me 16 weeks. 😩
