I used to do these the time. Never dawned on me to use that little dot of white on the planet. It totally turned it into a very real looking sphere. Excellent video!

It's Gloss poster board. You can get it at walmart pretty cheap..

Yes space captures many people's attention with spray paint because of how good it comes out and how easy it is. I recommend trying different things tho. Not just space. You lose certain credit if its a space piece (as opposed to something else) NOT SAYING ITS BAD

try to warm your cans in the sun for a while before you paint if its cold. move the cans fast as you spray so the layer of paint is thinner.

poster board. canvas will will but you need to coat it with white paint first to take away the bumps

after watching my friend do this I thought I would give it a try and it is a lot of fun, however I can't seem to master the cave and mountain effect. In the long run it is a pretty expensive hobby, but it gets me outside and doing something unique.

how hard you need to press depends on how much paint is there and how wet it is. the right amount of paint is more important.

its the cracks in the paper that makes the lines in the paint.. he crumbles the paper first so it got all those wrinkles. you get the shades done proper that way cause those lines are to thin to spray.. (hope you understand, my english aint that good)
